CCBPLC has given all meeting fees in 2008 to the Camp DreamCatcher which supports local children with AIDS/HIV. Please support the movie: Tiny Tears. Visit www.campdreamcatcher.org
All profits from the annual WOGO! in July each year supports the WCU Foundation’s M.M. Power Scholarship Fund. This fund supports women attending WCU and majoring in the sciences or in business with $1,000 scholarships. The student is awarded the scholarship based on various criteria established for the fund and is selected according to these criteria by the University.
The fund was established by Dr. Bronwyn Martin in 2007.
CCBLC also supports the Kennett Area Senior Center: an important ‘hub’ for local seniors to participate in daily fun and educational activities. Please visit: www.kennettseniorcenter.org. Bronwyn Martin serves on the Board of the senior center. Also visit the Book Shoppe in Kennett Square. The Shoppe sells used books which support the Senior Center.
If you’d like to get more involved the Center is always in need of volunteers to help out.
